Thieves steal 400 tonnes of corn

Thieves using at least a dozen large trucks stole an estimated 400 tonnes of corn worth about $140,000 from a farmer in central Quebec overnight Tuesday.

The corn was stored in silos on a farm about 130 kilometres north of Montreal.
They broke through locked fences to get into the property at St.-Leonard-d’Anton and disabled the alarm system which included video cameras.
