Job Responsibilities

• Performing pre-trip inspections on equipment loads, while ensuring safety and roadworthiness prior to leaving the store with the load
• Delivery of Small Ag and Turf products with heavy pickup & trailer
• Delivery of Large Agricultural Equipment with Tractor by towing
• Manually handling heavy loads and weight – handle up to 23kg (50 pounds), and able to load and unload a trailer multiple times a day.
• Checking all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
• Instruct customer on proper & safe operation of equipment
• Complying with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, and occupational health and safety

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license with a clear driving abstract
• 2 years of experience would be preferred
• Basic operational knowledge of farm equipment, as equipment may need to be offloaded for the customer, and at times may need to be driven to a customer instead of loading on a trailer)
• Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision Flexible to work scheduled and extended hours. This a part time role, hours could increased during periods of increased departmental demands.
