Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for delivering equipment using a pick-up truck and trailer

  • Performing pre-trip inspections on equipment loads, ensuring safety and roadworthiness prior to leaving the store with the load
  • Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
  • Complying with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers’ hours of service, and occupational health and safety
  • Delivery of equipment utilizing the trailer
  • Delivery of Large Ag equipment by driving equipment to site
  • Manually handling heavy loads and weight – handle up to 23kg (50lbs)
  • Performing facility and yard maintenance
  • Organizing display of equipment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clear driving abstract
  • Class A Driver’s License an asset
  • Two years of experience preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided
  • Experience with agricultural machinery would be an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, and flexible to work schedule, and extended hours
  • Strong communication, and organization skills
